Safe Shallow Sandy Beaches – Perfect for infants and children.

Naturalist’s Paradise – Delicate and rare orchids and ferns (please do not pick!). Close to large plots of crown land to explore.

Sailing, Sail Boarding, & Kite Surfing – Both beginner and expert can find the ideal conditions close at hand.

Pleasure Boating – Many secluded bays and uncharted lagoons await your discovery in both lake Huron and Georgian Bay.

Shallow Water Fishing – Excellent Pickeral, Bass, Perch, and Pike fishing can be found in the many smaller local inland lakes, as well as the countless nooks and crannies of Oliphant Fishing Islands.

Deep Lake Fishing – Rainbow, and Brown Trout, Coho and Chinook Salmon roam the outer structures for the vast schools of bait fish. In late fall and early spring the Rainbow move into the local rivers for fishing that is second to none. Charters and guiding available.

Biking – From the quiet local streets around Oliphant, to long road rides on scenic local roads, to the hundreds of kilometres of mountain bike trails, with a large off road network only 5km. away, this is a great cycling area.

Hiking – The Bruce Trail will lead you into heart of Canada’s newest National Park. Many other local conservation areas offer a wide variety of local day hikes.

Canoe and Kayak – The nearby Rankin River Canoe route, the Sauble River, and mighty Saugeen all offer excellent day trips. The local islands and shoreline of Lake Huron, and Georgian Bay also offer days worth of exploration.

Sauble Speedway – A short 15min drive to one of Ontario’s best short track raceways.

Golfing – With five of the areas local golf courses with in a 20min drive and many more within a 40min drive we are the perfect launching point for a golf vacation.

Sauble Beach – The world famous Sauble Beach with its many summer time attractions is located just 10km. away. Some of Sauble’s attractions include shopping in its many local shops, an amusement park, a race car track, a beautiful 7 mile sand beach, and many special events including car shows and volleyball tournaments.
